Septemeber 10th 2006 - Wing Swimming

With our swimming trunks and towels at the ready, we gave the competition 100%. Unfortunatly, we didn't win any awards although we do want to say Congratulations to 1344 (Cardiff) Squadron who walked away with the winners trophy.

Also, Well Done to CPL Locke (2308) who won 3 medals for Freestyle, Backstroke and Individual Medley, and will go forward to compete representing the Wing.

Update - Whilst at the Inter-Wing competitions in RAF Cosford, CPL Locke went on to win the Backstroke and got a Bronze in the Freestyle. Cpl Lockes next stage will be representing the Region in the Inter-Region competion. 

She said 'Hopefully i'll bring some kind of medal home for my beloved 2308 Squadron . . .'
