If you're between 13 and 18 and live in Torfaen you can take advantage of everything the ATC has to offer.
Not all youngsters join because they want a career with the RAF or in the aerospace industry. Whether you have an interest in aviation or just want to do something rewarding and exciting with your spare time, we're sure to be able to offer something you'll enjoy. With almost 49,000 Cadets in the UK, we must being doing something right!
You've got no obligation to join the RAF once you become a Cadet, but if your interested in joining the RAF, or any armed service, mentioning your achievements within the ATC will make your CV stand out from the crowd!
If you'd like to see what you're missing out on, come along to the Squadron on a parade night (Monday or Wednesday) just after 7pm. You can bring a parent, a friend, or come down on your own. Either way, the CO will talk to you and introduce you to the other Cadets.
You can find out where the Squadron is located by selecting the Contact tab at the top of the page.
Although most of what we do is supported or provided by the RAF, including uniform, we do have to charge a subscription to fund other activities and equipment. This subscription is kept to a minimum and currently costs 50p per week for Junior Cadets (those who have not been issued uniform or enrolled) and £5 per week for those Cadets who have ben enrolled and have been provided with full uniform.
