Children with Leukaemia Charity Run 07/30/2008
Leukaemia is a cancer of the blood that occurs when abnormal white blood cells are produced by the body, usually in very large numbers. As the Leukaemia cells take over, the patient develops symptoms such as excessive bruising and breathlessness. They may also develop infections that are hard to shake off because the white blood cells are no longer doing their job properly. On Wednesday 23rd July 2008 we are holding a sponsored run in aid of the charity Children with Leukaemia at Cwmbran Stadium, from 7pm. The Squadron will recieve half of the total amount raised by Cadets. Comments Comments are closed. |
